It’s the end of the year and holidays are approaching at the speed of light. You’ll probably have some free time, either because you have a short break from work or because school’s out and you get some time to spend with family or friends.

If you have not yet decided how to spend this winter, we offer you several options of places in Mexico that will make you live an incredible experience for their beauty and the range of activities you can do there, so you can receive winter as you should.

If you are a snow lover, jump for joy because Chihuahua is your best shot. In this state you can’t miss it year after year. Witness this magnificent show from the Chihuahua-Pacific train, which goes by Chepe. You can sleep in one of their beautiful cabins accompanied by a toasty hot cup of cocoa.

What to Pack: Temperatures can drop to 2.8 degrees in December so don’t forget to wear a good coat, a pair of comfortable boots to go out exploring and all the layers you need. Wear items suited for this time of year such as turtle neck jerseys, a wide brimmed hat that can give you a stylish touch, and long sleeve blouses that will keep you comfortable and warm during your trip.

Valle (as the locals call it) is one of these places designed to leave the routine behind and experience fun adventures in the nature around you, surrounded by a traditional and wonderful traditional town environment. You can enjoy yourself relaxing with the activities offered by spas and meditation centers. On top of this, youll be amidst a traditional variety of food options ranging from Indian, Mexican, American, French or Japanese cuisine.

What to Pack: During this winter season there is nothing like a poncho to keep you comfortable and warm, wear your favorite skinny jeans, a pair of long boots and of course, and of course a large weekender leather bag that fits your gloves and scarf  to keep you cozy at all times.

Although it doesn’t always have snowy landscapes, Zacatecas is one of the chilliest states in Mexico with temperatures below zero. In places like the Magical Town of Sombrerete you’ll find monumental architecture of churches and buildings that lead to live a traditional environment.

What to pack: A leather jacket will give you a super stylish look that can match with almost any outfit. You can combine it with jeans or a skirt, as well as your favorite boots or sports shoes that will allow you to walk by the city comfortably with a very chic touch.
